Blue Man Group Saint Paul reviews
Worst Experience ever
I just experienced my first concert that I walked out of. It was Blue Man Group at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland Maine. It was not the band's fault. It was how the stage was setup for the venue. My family and I were in Section E in Row 12. Nice seats for a concert, but not this one. Our view was being blocked by the blackout curtain, a tower of lights, and a tower of speakers. #bluemangroup is a visual enjoyment experience. We did not get that. We only stayed for 45min. Also, this concert started late. Doors were supposed to open at 6:30 for 7:30 show. They did not open until 7:20. The show started at 8:30. My family have been to their other concerts they had here and enjoyed them. For this type of setup, the State Theater would have been better. The way the stage was setup, only people on the floor in the center got the best experience. From the stage angles, only about 60 deg was good, compared to the 170 deg they sold tickets for.
